Leadfeeder is one of the best-known visitor identification tools. For the naming history with Dealfront, see [Dealfront is called Leadfeeder again](https://whovisit.app/blog/dealfront-heisst-jetzt-leadfeeder). The fact that many people look for an alternative rarely has to do with a lack of quality. Usually something about the fit is wrong: the price tier, the scope of functions, the number of credits or the approach to data protection. This article names reasons for switching and sorts alternatives by need. It does not rate any provider. Anyone planning the switch themselves will find the steps in [Alternative to SalesViewer, Leadfeeder and others](https://whovisit.app/blog/salesviewer-alternative).

## What Leadfeeder offers, to keep the comparison fair

The provider's pricing page lists four plans ([Leadfeeder pricing](https://www.leadfeeder.com/pricing/)):

- **Lite:** permanently free, the last 100 identified companies, 20 credits, unlimited users, 7 days of visitor history.
- **Discover:** from €79 with annual payment and from €113 with monthly payment, tiered from 50 to 1,000 companies. Includes company profiles, reports on Google and LinkedIn ads, instant alerts, CRM synchronisation, programming interface.
- **Activate:** from €369 with annual payment, 1,000 to 4,000 companies, plus credits for verified email addresses and phone numbers, campaigns and CRM automation.
- **Scale:** from €599 with annual or quarterly payment only, 2,000 to 10,000 companies, with free company export and a dedicated contact person.

That is a broad offering. For some teams, this is exactly the reason to switch: you pay for tiers and credits you do not need. Anyone who instead wants contact data, CRM matching and a free entry point in one tool will find this unusually well developed here.

## Common reasons for switching

**Price tier.** Entry to the paid plans starts at €113 per month (Discover, up to 50 companies, monthly payment). Anyone who needs only a handful of companies per month often looks for finer tiers.

**Payment terms.** The cheaper prices apply with annual payment in advance, and Scale is not available monthly at all. Anyone who wants to stay flexible looks at plans that can be cancelled monthly.

**Credits.** Contact data runs through credits, which are used up. Anyone who needs no contacts pays along in the higher plans.

**Approach to data protection.** Anyone who wants to load the script only after consent, or is looking for a solution with an EU server and no storage of the IP, compares the approaches. This is a question of your own requirements, not a verdict on quality.

**Scope of functions.** Teams that only want to know which companies come and what they read often use only part of the platform.

## Alternatives by need

### You want to start for free

Leadfeeder itself offers a free plan for 100 companies with Lite, though without full company profiles and without CRM matching. Whovisit has a permanent free plan with 10 companies per month, one website and a 30-day report, with all functions. How good free tiers really are is shown in [Visitor identification for free](https://whovisit.app/blog/besuchererkennung-kostenlos).

### You want to start cheaply

Snitcher (Netherlands) counts in dollars and, according to its pricing page, starts at $49 for up to 50 companies, every plan with all functions and unlimited users ([Snitcher pricing page](https://www.snitcher.com/pricing)). Leadinfo starts at €69 for up to 50 companies ([Leadinfo pricing page](https://www.leadinfo.com/en/pricing/)). SalesViewer starts at €99 for 50 companies ([SalesViewer pricing page](https://www.salesviewer.com/pricing)).

| Identified companies per month | Leadfeeder Discover | Leadinfo | Snitcher (dollars) | Whovisit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | €156 | €99 | $69 | €19 |
| 250 | €256 (tier 201 to 400) | €159 | $99 | €39 |
| 500 | €356 | €209 | $139 | €69 |
| 1,000 | €441 | €309 | $229 | €119 |

As of 7 November 2026, prices net according to the provider's page. Providers change their prices, so check the current page before buying. All prices apply with monthly payment. For Snitcher the page does not state the currency expressly, and the symbol is "$". Leadfeeder has no tier of its own at 250 companies, and the column shows the tier 201 to 400. The plans do not include the same functions.

### You need contact data and CRM

Leadinfo lists a database of decision-makers from the Starter plan and 67 integrations. In the smallest plan, however, there is only manual sending, with automatic matching from €159. Snitcher lists CRM connections at no extra charge in every plan and person matching only if visitors themselves give an email address. Leadfeeder Activate remains an option in this group, with credits for contact data.

### You value data protection

SalesViewer describes tracking without cookies and without IP tracking. Leadinfo lets customers choose between consent and legitimate interest. Whovisit loads the script only after consent, evaluates only the network owner of the IP in the public register and discards the IP afterwards. How to check the statements is covered in [Comparing visitor identification: 12 criteria for choosing](https://whovisit.app/blog/besuchererkennung-vergleich-kriterien). We give no legal verdicts, and the article is not legal advice.

## How to proceed

1. Write down which functions your sales team really uses.
2. Determine the number of companies over the last three months.
3. Test two or three alternatives for 14 days with your website. Several providers offer this.
4. Check term and cancellation before you end the old tool.

You will find the prices of all providers side by side in the [visitor identification price comparison](https://whovisit.app/blog/besuchererkennung-preisvergleich), and Leadfeeder's plans are covered in [Leadfeeder pricing](https://whovisit.app/blog/leadfeeder-preise).

## Frequently asked questions

**Is there a free alternative to Leadfeeder?** Leadfeeder itself has a free plan with Lite. Further free tiers exist with several providers. The limits of the free plans differ greatly, described in [Visitor identification for free](https://whovisit.app/blog/besuchererkennung-kostenlos).

**Which alternative has contact data?** Leadinfo and Leadfeeder Activate list contact data of contact persons, and Snitcher lists enrichment of contacts. Check the origin of the data and the costs beforehand, because contacts are subject to their own data protection rules.

**Will I lose my data when I switch?** With every switch the list in the new tool starts empty. Export the old data beforehand. Leadfeeder lists free company export only from Scale, and in the other plans the credits for export must be taken into account.
