Leadinfo or SalesViewer: the comparison for DACH teams
Leadinfo and SalesViewer compared: price by number of companies, features by plan, cookies and consent according to the provider, which suits whom.
Leadinfo and SalesViewer address the same target group: B2B companies in the German-speaking region that want to know which companies visit their website. Both advertise data protection, and both bill by identified companies. The differences are in the detail. Leadinfo states that it brings contact data and many connections. SalesViewer relies on features such as video and scoring and describes a method without cookies. This article sets the statements of both providers side by side and says where the pricing pages leave questions open.

Prices at the same number of companies
Leadinfo scales in fine steps, SalesViewer in large ones. That makes the comparison clean only at individual points. The table shows monthly amounts. Leadinfo does not label clearly on its pricing page whether the table shows monthly or annual prices, and the calculator on the same page gives different amounts. Here the plan table applies, so check the payment method before buying.
| Identified companies per month | Leadinfo | SalesViewer | Whovisit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | Starter €99 (tier 51 to 100) | price not stated | €19 |
| 250 | Scale €159 (up to 250) | Premium €339 | €39 |
| 500 | Scale €209 (tier 251 to 500) | price not stated | €69 |
| 1,000 | Scale €309 (tier 751 to 1,000) | from €629 (Individual, from 750 companies) | €119 |
As of 7 November 2026, prices net according to the provider's page. Providers change their prices, so check the current page before buying. Leadinfo gives no information on VAT on its pricing page.
SalesViewer gives a 20 percent discount with annual payment without stating amounts. With Leadinfo, the difference between monthly and annual payment is not shown on the page. A comparison of payment methods is therefore currently only possible by calculation with SalesViewer.
The features differ by plan. The Leadinfo Scale plan at €159 includes CRM matching and recordings, while the SalesViewer Premium plan includes video, filters and scoring. The same number of companies therefore does not mean the same service. Further details are in Leadinfo pricing and SalesViewer pricing, and the prices of all providers in the visitor identification price comparison.
Features by plan
| Feature | Leadinfo | SalesViewer |
|---|---|---|
| Lead scoring | from Starter | from Premium |
| Video (recording) | from Scale, 7 days, from Pro 14 days | from Premium |
| CRM | 67 integrations, from Starter manual sending only, automatic matching from Scale, Salesforce from Pro | drag-and-drop integrations from Pro, programming interface from Premium |
| Contact data | database of over 300 million decision-makers from Starter, mobile numbers from Pro | contact persons according to the features page, scope not stated |
| Advertising | Google Ads from Starter, LinkedIn Ads from Scale | Google Ads connection from Premium |
| Export | not stated | from Pro |
| Events (clicks, downloads) | not stated | from Individual |
| Add-on modules | Autopilot, Leadbot, Liquid Content for an extra charge | Dynamic Content in Individual |
Two things stand out. First, lead scoring sits in the smallest plan with Leadinfo, but only in the middle plan with SalesViewer. Second, Leadinfo offers more connections, while SalesViewer offers export already at entry level. Anyone who works with Salesforce needs the Pro plan from €359 with Leadinfo.
When the limit is reached, the providers act differently. SalesViewer pauses identification and notifies you. According to its pricing page, Leadinfo keeps collecting but only shows the hits after an upgrade.
Data protection according to their own statements
Leadinfo describes two optional cookies from the provider itself and a variant without cookies. The choice of legal basis lies with the customer, consent or legitimate interest. The provider recommends activating the code only after consent. The IP address is matched against a database of public sources, the servers are in Ireland, and the provider cites ISO 27001 as evidence, although elsewhere the page speaks of an ongoing process (Leadinfo data protection page).
SalesViewer describes tracking without cookies and without IP tracking, an opt-out and a German infrastructure. The page does not provide for consent from visitors (SalesViewer data protection page).
Which path is legally sufficient is not decided by the provider. It depends on the individual case and your country, and the basics are in Visitor identification and GDPR: a sober assessment. The article is not legal advice.
Which suits whom
Leadinfo suits you if you need contact data and many connections in the tool, use Slack or Teams and want to start cheaply with a few companies per month. The 14-day trial shows whether the identification rate on your website is right.
SalesViewer suits you if you prefer a German provider, look for features such as video, scoring and campaigns and want to work with monthly cancellation. With Premium, video and programming interface are included.
A third tool is worth considering if you need no contact data. Whovisit shows companies, pages and actions, passes notifications on to Slack, Teams and via webhook and offers an interface for your CRM. There is no contact database there.
Frequently asked questions
Does Leadinfo or SalesViewer have the better identification rate? Neither provider gives a reliable comparison figure. Leadinfo states that it identifies around 30 percent of traffic as companies, while SalesViewer gives no figure. More on the reasons in Identification rate: why the figures vary so much. What matters is a test with your own website.
Can both be cancelled monthly? On its pricing page SalesViewer states „No contract“ and monthly payment. Leadinfo states that plans can be changed at any time, but you will find no information on cancellation on the pricing page. Read the terms before signing.
