Lead Forensics cost: what third-party sources report

Lead Forensics gives no prices. What third-party sources report on costs, contract commitment and pricing metric, and which alternatives have open prices.

Two columns: traffic metric with all visits and a price after the trial, company metric with identified companies and a visible price

Lead Forensics is a British provider that shows the companies behind website visits and supplies contact data of decision-makers with it. There is no price on the website, only a button for a demo. Anyone who wants to know what using it costs has to rely on third-party sources. This article collects what can be read there, puts the sources in context and shows alternatives. All figures are estimates. The article is not legal advice.

What the provider itself states

The pricing page lists two plans, Essentials and Automate. Both have only the button „Book a demo“. The page gives no amounts and does not assign the functions to either plan. According to the page, the price depends on the traffic your website generates. The number of users is unlimited and does not affect the price. The free trial lasts one week and is meant to show the visit volume on the basis of which the price is set. On the contract term, the page gives no information.

What third-party sources report on costs

SourceStatementType
ZoomInfo Pipeline, as of May 2026Essentials 6,000 to 25,000 US dollars a year, Automate 25,000 to 95,000 US dollars a yearEstimate by a competitor
VendrAt least about 6,000, at most about 98,000 US dollars a year, on average about 35,000Analysis of purchasing data, method not stated

As of 7 November 2026, prices according to the third-party sources named, not according to the provider's page. Providers change their prices, so request a binding quote before buying.

Two notes for context. ZoomInfo itself sells products that compete with Lead Forensics. And the range is so wide that it says little about your case. Converted to a month, the lower end of the Essentials estimate gives about 500 US dollars, and the upper end of the Automate estimate about 7,900 US dollars (our own calculation: year divided by 12). Vendr also reports a renewal offer that was reduced from 22,800 to 20,400 US dollars, with two free months, at 100 contacts per month. A single case, but it shows that prices can be negotiable.

Pricing metric: traffic instead of companies

Lead Forensics bills by visit volume. Other providers count identified companies, others again credits or users. This has consequences:

  • With a traffic metric, you also pay for visits from which no company can be derived, such as those from private individuals.
  • With a company metric, the price depends on how often a company is identified, not on how many visits it triggers.
  • A comparison in euros per month only makes sense if the way of counting is known. More in Comparing visitor identification: 12 criteria for choosing.

Contract commitment

A third-party source (ZoomInfo Pipeline) writes that there are only annual contracts. Cancellation must be made 90 days before the end of the term in writing, otherwise the contract renews for a year. It also mentions an automatic increase of 10 percent after every twelve months, a set-up fee and a surcharge of 3 percent for card payment. These statements are not on the provider's page and cannot be verified. Ask in the quote for written information on term, notice period, price adjustment and incidental costs. What to look out for in contracts overall is covered in Visitor identification: monthly or annual contract?.

What speaks for Lead Forensics

In fairness, what users praise belongs in the picture. On G2, search results show 4.4 out of 5 stars from over 1,100 ratings, on Capterra 4.5 from several hundred. Simplicity and support are praised. Technically, unlimited users, contact data of decision-makers, ABM functions and connections to Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pipedrive and Zoho can be named. These are services that the simple plans of other providers do not include. Individual ratings are critical of the quality of the contact data. These are individual experiences, not a finding about the product as a whole.

Data protection: a point to ask about

The provider names a Trust Center and a cookie policy on its website. The consent directory Tarteaucitron lists Lead Forensics as a service with a cookie called „ifuuid“. Where a cookie is set, consent is generally required under § 25 TDDDG (the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), see Section 25 TDDDG: cookies and tracking in Germany. Whether and how Lead Forensics solves this in your case, you should have the provider answer, as well as server location and data processing agreement. No verdict on lawfulness can be derived from these statements.
